Lakshadweep, the group of 36 islands is known for its exotic and sun-kissed beaches and lush green landscape. The name Lakshadweep in Malayalam and Sanskrit means ‘a hundred thousand islands’ India’s smallest Union Territory Lakshadweep is an archipelago consisting of 36 islands with an area of 32 sq km. It is a uni-district Union Territory and comprises of 12 atolls, three reefs, five submerged banks and ten inhabited islands. The islands have a total area of 32 sq km. The capital is Kavaratti and it is also the principal town of the UT.
All Islands are 220 to 440 km away from the coastal city of Kochi in Kerala, in the emerald Arabian Sea. The natural landscapes, the sandy beaches, abundance of flora and fauna and the absence of a rushed lifestyle enhance the mystique of Lakshadweep. Only BSNL and Airtel provides telecommunication services to Lakshadweep Islands. BSNL provides connectivity in all 10 inhabited islands where as Airtel provides
connectivity to Kavaratti and Agatti islands.
Upon arrival at Cochin airport, you'll board a flight to Agatti. Once you land in Agatti, our representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, you'll have lunch and then embark on a sightseeing tour of the island. Highlights of the tour include visits to the Public Library, Anthropological Museum, South Beach, Eastern Jetty, NIOT Sea Water Desalination Plant, and Lagoon Beach. In the evening, you can explore the nearby beach and witness a mesmerizing sunset before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you have the option to embark on a trip to Thinnakara Island and Bangaram Sand Bank. A well-experienced guide will accompany you on a boat ride from Agatti to Bangaram Island, a small uninhabited island known for its pristine beaches and clear waters teeming with floating turtles. After exploring Thinnakara and relaxing, the boat will take you to Bangaram Sand Bank. Later, return to your hotel in Agatti for dinner and an overnight stay.
oday, you have the option to visit Kalpetti Island for a half-day excursion by boat after breakfast. Upon returning to Agatti in the afternoon, enjoy lunch and then have the rest of the day free for leisure activities or engaging in water sports such as diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, and reef watching. All water sports activities are available at the resort and are payable directly. Spend the night at your hotel in Agatti.
