Day By Day Itinerary

Itinerary description

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

  • Arrive at Cairo International Airport and meet our representative for assistance with immigration and customs.
  • Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
  • Overnight stay in Cairo.

 

Day 2: Explore Cairo & Board Sleeper Train to Aswan

 

  • After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, a papyrus fair, perfume factory, and cotton shop.
  • Visit the Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
  • Evening transfer to the train station for the sleeper train to Aswan.
  • Dinner and overnight onboard the train.

 

 

Day 3: Arrival in Aswan & Nile Cruise

  • Arrive in Aswan and visit the Philae Temple, High Dam, and Unfinished Obelisk.
  • Transfer to your Nile cruise and check-in.
  • Overnight onboard the cruise in Aswan.

Day 4: Abu Simbel & Sail to Kom Ombo and Edfu

  • Early morning transfer to Abu Simbel to explore its magnificent temples.
  • Return to the cruise and sail to Kom Ombo; visit the Kom Ombo Temple.
  • Continue sailing to Edfu and overnight onboard.

Day 5: Edfu Temple & Sail to Luxor

  • Check out after breakfast and visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
  • Continue to explore Karnak and Luxor Temples.
  • Transfer to Luxor station for the sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 6: Explore Luxor & Board Sleeper Train to Cairo

  • Check out after breakfast and visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
  • Continue to explore Karnak and Luxor Temples.
  • Transfer to Luxor station for the sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 7: Day Trip to Alexandria

  • After breakfast, take a private A/C vehicle to Alexandria for a full-day tour.
  • Visit the Catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar, and view the Citadel of Qaitbay from the outside.
  • Return to Cairo in the evening and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo

  • After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your final departure.
